Karen is a Registered Dietitian, having received a Masters Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University. She then completed her dietetic internship in affiliation with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she gained extensive experience in both clinical and community nutrition. Her previous experience includes NYU’s Pediatric Dental Clinic, Ogilvy PR Firm,Tanya Zuckerbrot Nutrition, the Clinton Foundation and a trainer for Equinox Gym.
Karen is also a contributing writer for www.FeedYoursSister.com where she writes healthy recipes.and has also written forwww.skinnyinthecity.com.
Karen remains informed on the newest research and health practices because she is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Greater New York Dietetic Association. She loves cooking, baking, discovering healthy recipes, and is currently training for her first NYC marathon.
