New York Medical Associates provides comprehensive diagnostic and management services for cardiovascular diseases. All of our cardiologists are board-certified and are active members of the teaching faculty of the Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology of the NYU School of Medicine.
Our physicians are dedicated to the prevention of cardiovascular disease in those with risk factors, and to secondary prevention and easing disease burden among patients with established cardiovascular disease. We employ a wide range of risk factor intervention including the treatment of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, metabolic syndrome, and other risk factors. Our approach is evidence-based, but we also employ integrative techniques as appropriate to our approach to cardiovascular disease.
Our noninvasive laboratory is state-of-the-art, and includes echocardiography with digital storage and interpretation, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and other diagnostic modalities. We have extensive experience with carotid IMT assessment as an adjunct to the management of hyperlipidemia.
